Advanced Business Systems, Inc. was started in 1991 in a small store front in Watertown NY. Partners Ed Jones and Jim Christopher began as a simple copier and fax dealer and had one employee, Wayne Gillette, who remains today as the Service Director. Our growth was very steady and we had to move at the end of our first year and built our own facility in our fourth year at Murrock Circle Industrial Park in Watertown. Recently we added a 5000 square foot warehouse to accommodate the growth in our customer base as well as our product line. Over the years we have grown to nearly 30 employees and have expanded into computer and network services. Our mission has always been about service and taking care of our customers. We believe that service is much more than turning screwdrivers it is as much about doing all the little things right, from having a human being to answer the phone, to offering 24/7 service, because we know that life doesn´t stop at 5:00 pm. It is about getting billing done correctly and it is about doing business on your customer´s terms not ours. Honestly, we have looked very hard at the many frustrating business experiences from our own lives and tried to make sure that our customers never experience that when doing business with us. We are a full service dealer and can help our customers with document flow management, electronic archiving as well as hardware service. ABS offers the best of both worlds, we are large enough to offer a wide range of top quality products and services but small enough to adjust where we need to in order meet our customer´s specific needs. Our hardware products range from small desktop copiers and fax machines to large console production equipment. We specialize in doing a full needs-analysis of your business and preparing a solution that can streamline your processes and save your company money. We employ Microsoft Certified network technicians and can assist with computer network on any level, whether as supplement to your own in house IT staff or we can be your IT staff.
