Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency (OCRRA)

Go Back
OCRRA, or the Onondaga County Resource Recovery Agency, is a public-benefit corporation that provides our community with recycling and disposal options for solid waste. OCRRA provides free recycling advice and free recycling supplies to all local businesses. Simply call 453-2866 to schedule an appointment or visit www.ocrra.org to order supplies online. OCRRA operates two transfer stations where trash and recycling may be dropped off. We also manage two compost sites that accept yard waste and food scraps from businesses and residents. These sites also sell compost and mulch in bulk for landscaping projects. In addition, OCRRA offers residents a year-round household hazardous waste drop off program; a confidential document shredding event; a mercury thermometer/thermostat collection program and a large community-wide Earth Day Litter Cleanup that many businesses participate in each year. Follow OCRRA on facebook (https://www.facebook.com/ocrra/) or visit www.OCRRA.org to sign up for our email list or learn more about our programs and what can be recycled in Onondaga County.
