Downtown Committee Fall Progress Breakfast

Go Back

The Good Morning Downtown Syracuse Progress Breakfast Series continues on Tuesday, October 26, from 8:00am - 9:00am. Presented in partnership between the Downtown Committee of Syracuse, Inc. and Mower, the virtual event and panel discussion will be focused on Investing in Our Community. Tune in, pour yourself a cup of coffee, and together we’ll celebrate the forward-thinking that has fueled momentum throughout our city.

Attendees will hear from three exciting presenters, speaking from a city perspective, an employer perspective, and an Arts & Culture perspective:

  • Mayor Ben Walsh (City of Syracuse) will discuss the many ways the City of Syracuse has invested in our community through new programs and initiatives.
  • Melanie Littlejohn (Vice President, New York Customer and Community Management for National Grid) will introduce a new initiative that National Grid is rolling out that speaks to the importance of corporate commitment and its impact on community.
  • And, finally, Albert Nocciolino (President & CEO of NAC Entertainment, Ltd. and Famous Artists) will discuss the variety of benefits that the arts bring to Downtown Syracuse, and how these contributions deliver economic benefits for the whole region.

The Progress Breakfast event is known for providing exclusive previews of people, places, projects and overall items of interest that the community is buzzing about. To provide a further personalized touch, a panel discussion with our presenters will follow the presentations.

The 2021 Progress Breakfast Series is presented by the Downtown Committee and Mower. It receives corporate support from SWBR and ProArch. The Central New York Business Journal is the Media Sponsor. The breakfasts are held in the spring and fall each year.
