Children are invited to ring in 2019 at noon on New Year’s Eve Monday, December 31, with a special celebration at the Rosamond Gifford Zoo. Noon Year’s Eve is a kid-style New Year’s party that keeps bed-time in mind – complete with a dance party, noisemaker parade and ball drop countdown at noon. The festivities begin at 10 a.m. a dance party and face-painting at the zoo’s banquet room. The first 500 children will receive a free goodie bag with a noisemaker for the Noon Year’s parade at 11:45 a.m. The countdown and ball drop will take place in the zoo courtyard at noon. The event is free to zoo members and with zoo admission. Guests are free to explore the zoo after the Noon Year’s party. Where: 1 Conservation Place, Syracuse, NY 13204 Cost: Free for members and with zoo admission. Admission is $9 adults, $5 children, $5 seniors and free for age 2 and under. Bonus: Special $25 Jr. Keeper Adopt-an-Animal packages will available at this event. Adopts help support animal care and a variety of zoo projects.
