The accolade comes just months after The Crescent welcomes its first guests as part of the $400 million Turning Stone Evolution and Turning Stone’s transformation into New York’s largest meetings and conventions resort
Oneida Indian Nation Homelands (October 1, 2026) – The awards keep coming for Turning Stone Resort Casino. Today, AAA revealed the winners of its prestigious international Diamond Top 10 and The Crescent, the resort’s newest luxury hotel, makes the list of Top Casino Hotels. Winners were selected from a field of nominees using AAA’s objective Diamond program inspection data.
The honor comes just months after The Crescent opened its doors and weeks after Turning Stone’s transformation into New York’s largest meetings and conventions resort with the 225,000 square foot The Grand Expo. Turning Stone’s fourth hotel on property, The Crescent is a 258-room luxury hotel with modern amenities, exceptional attention to detail and guest services. According to AAA:
“The Crescent is the newest addition to the area’s premier casino destination, this hotel offers an elegant retreat amid the excitement. A tranquil garden at the main entrance and a welcoming lobby set a refined tone, while conveniences such as a valet service enhance the overall experience. Guest rooms provide a restful escape with soothing colors, a pillow menu and bright, thoughtfully designed bathrooms. A variety of dining venues and 24-hour room service further contribute to the appeal of this well-rounded destination.”
The Crescent is just steps away from Turning Stone’s Las Vegas-style gaming floor, championship golf courses, award-winning spas and 26 restaurants. The Crescent is home to Salt, resort’s newest signature fine-dining restaurant, which spans the entire seventh floor of the hotel and features two outdoor terraces for three-season outdoor dining. The hotel is also home to Rome Health Convenient Care at Turning Stone, an on-site medical center offering high-quality care for guests and their families, team members and the local community.
“AAA’s list of Top Casino hotels features the best of the best and The Crescent’s inclusion just months after opening is a reflection of the high standards and exceptional guest experience our team has delivered from day one,” said Ray Halbritter, Oneida Indian Nation Representative and Turning Stone Enterprises CEO. “The national praise received for The Crescent and our $400 million transformation to become New York’s largest meetings and conventions resort reflects our unwavering commitment to constant reinvestment and redefinition of what it means to be a top award-winning destination and the Northeast’s premiere luxury resort.”
Other recent awards and accolades include The Crescent’s AAA Four Diamond designation in August, Forbes naming Turning Stone one of the biggest and the best golf resorts in the Northeast and Golf Digest naming Turning Stone the top East Coast Golf Getaways. The resort holds 16 Forbes Four Star Awards and the Conde Nast Award of Excellence for 2026.
