Open House Event Offers Picture with Tony Award and More Things Broadway!

(Syracuse, NY) ‒ Broadway In Syracuse will host an open house event on Tuesday, August 18 offering patrons an exciting opportunity to explore the historic Landmark Theatre, discover the perfect seats for the upcoming season. From 10AM to 5PM, patrons are invited to "test drive" available inventory, experience the unique ambiance of the theatre, engage with knowledgeable staff members, and even get their picture taken with an actual Tony Award.

“These events are perfect opportunities to come see our theatre, especially if you’ve never been before,” said Broadway In Syracuse staff member Ashley Yacobush. “Patrons are able to test out their view before they buy season tickets, so they know what to expect next season, and members of the community can come meet our staff and see the beautiful Landmark Theatre.”

This special event provides the public an opportunity to see what seats are available for season tickets and current season ticket holders the chance to test out their current seats. Attendees can sit in various locations throughout the theatre to find the ideal spot that enhances their viewing experience.

Guests will also have the unique opportunity to see and take photos with the Tony Award® for Best Musical, recently won by The Outsiders, offering fans a rare chance to get up close with Broadway's highest honor.

Broadway in Syracuse staff will be on hand to answer any questions about the 2026-2027 M&T Bank Broadway Season, as well as additional information on subscriber benefits. Landmark Theatre staff will be on hand to answer any questions about the theatre, as well as leading informational tours at 11AM, 1PM, and 3PM.
