Upstate Biotech Ventures Overview

The speaker will provide an overview of Upstate Biotech Ventures, an equity-based fund developed through a partnership between Empire State Development, Upstate Medical University, the SUNY Research Foundation and Excell Partners, Upstate Biotech Ventures invests in high potential startups and small businesses affiliated with Upstate Medical University to drive research and technology innovation. The session will include a discussion of eligibility and the application process as well as Excell Partners’ due diligence system for reviewing applications and the UBV pitch.
