What we do: We identify opportunities, create partnerships and incubate new workforce strategies to ensure that un/underemployed individuals have access to careers in high-growth industries throughout the Central New York region. Why? As part of CenterState CEO’s Inclusive Growth team, we work to ensure that, as transformative economic changes happen in Central New York, new career opportunities are available to as many people as possible. We help companies meet their workforce needs and help families move out of poverty by focusing on untapped talent throughout the region. How? We use a systems change approach. We build coalitions across employers, unions and training providers; develop best practices; raise and regrant funding; incubate innovative programs; advocate for policy changes and research emerging industries/occupations.
