Syracuse, NY— September 30, 2025: Eastern Security Services announced that Installation Technician Mitch Nelson has been named one of only 10 recipients nationwide of the FAST Security Technician of the Year Award.
Each year, the Foundation for Advancing Security Talent (FAST) recognizes 10 individuals across the country for their contributions to the security industry. The award highlights excellence in system design, installation, and maintenance while honoring the vital role technicians play in protecting people and property.
Mitch, a former United States Marine, began his career with Eastern Security in November 2023, and in less than two years has distinguished himself through his dedication, leadership, and meticulous attention to detail. His recognition by FAST reflects not only his individual achievements, but also the company’s ongoing commitment to training, service, and excellence.
“Mitch represents the very best of our team. His work ethic, skill, and professionalism have made a huge impact in a short period of time. We’re beyond proud to see him recognized at the national level,” said Cooper MacDonnell, President of Eastern Security Services.
