Micron Invests in Central New York

Micron Technology Inc.'s semiconductor facility at Central New York’s White Pine site is the largest proposed project in the Central New York region’s history, and among the largest industrial manufacturing investments in U.S. history. It will put our community at the forefront of semiconductor manufacturing, and bring capital investment, community investments and jobs that will transform the region, and generate a ripple of economic benefits across the state.

Over the next 20 years Micron will invest up to $100 billion and create 9,000 Micron jobs and 40,000 community jobs – including suppliers, contractors and other supporting roles and opportunities, as well as significant and community benefits. CenterState CEO is actively working with Micron to ensure its long-term success here.
