Man in the Moon Candies Wins Industry Award at Candy Convention

Indianapolis, IN  – 6/22/2026 – Retail Confectioners International (RCI) is pleased to announce that Man in the Moon Candies of Oswego received the Candy Clinic Award for Best New Piece during the 2026 RCI Candy Convention in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The event brought together nearly 500 confectioners and industry suppliers from across the United States and Canada.

Since 1937, Candy Clinic has provided a forum for confectioners to share new product innovations, merchandising concepts, packaging ideas and business solutions with their peers. Attendees vote for their favorite presentation in each category, making the awards a peer-recognized honor within the confectionery industry.

Man in the Moon Candies received the award for Best New Piece with “You’re Hot Honey!” an artisan truffle with hot honey and lemon ganache.

"Each year, Candy Clinic showcases the creativity and ingenuity of confectioners from across the industry," said Angie Burlison, Executive Director of Retail Confectioners International. "For nearly 90 years, it has provided a unique opportunity for candy makers to share ideas, inspire one another and celebrate innovation."
