The Central Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired has promoted Jessica Watson to senior vice president of Syracuse Operations, recognizing her leadership, operational expertise and commitment to advancing the organization’s mission.
Watson brings more than 20 years of leadership, operations, training and customer service experience to the role. She has spent the past 16 years with CABVI, serving as vice president of services and quality assurance, where she led business development initiatives, managed customer relationships, oversaw service operations and developed programs that created employment opportunities for individuals who are blind or visually impaired.
Throughout her tenure, Watson has established herself as a people-centered leader focused on developing talent and building high-performing teams. She created and launched company-wide leadership certification programs, mentored emerging leaders and coordinated training initiatives for hundreds of employees, demonstrating a commitment to employee growth, engagement and success. Her ability to foster collaboration, build strong relationships and inspire teams has made a lasting impact across the organization.
Watson will provide strategic and operational leadership for CABVI’s Syracuse division in her new role. She will oversee production, warehousing, customer service and workforce development initiatives while playing a key role in driving operational excellence, supporting organizational growth, strengthening employee engagement and ensuring alignment between CABVI’s Utica and Syracuse operations.
