Nave's Neighbors

Nave Law Firm is proud to recognize Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse as its October Nave's Neighbor, celebrating an organization that has served as a consistent, stabilizing presence for thousands of young people across Central New York.

Through its Nave Cares initiative, the Nave's Neighbors program spotlights organizations that strengthen the community through service, collaboration, and meaningful support. Each month, Nave Law amplifies one organization's mission and impact to help raise awareness and encourage community engagement.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse serves approximately 1,000 young people between the ages of 5 and 18 across three Clubhouses and two gymnasiums in some of Syracuse's most underserved neighborhoods. Their programs are designed to prepare members for real-life success — addressing college readiness, healthy lifestyles, and the development of character and leadership skills.

What the Clubs offer goes beyond programming. Their mission is not simply to provide a membership card — it is to provide a vision and a moral compass. Individually and collectively, the Clubs commit to being a constant in the lives of the young people they serve. For many families, the Club is a safe place and a source of mentorship in neighborhoods where that consistency is rare and essential.

This October, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Syracuse will host their 26th Annual Hoops for Hope Dinner with SU Men's Basketball on Tuesday, October 20th at Drumlins Country Club, 800 Nottingham Road, Syracuse. The event runs from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

This unique early-season event features Head Coach Gerry McNamara, his coaching staff, and the 2026-2027 SU Men's Basketball team.

All proceeds directly benefit the approximately 1,000 youth participating in Club programs across Syracuse.
