The NUAIR Alliance is a New York based not-for-profit coalition of private and public entities and academic institutions working together to operate and oversee Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS) testing in New York, Massachusetts and Michigan. Headquartered in Syracuse, NY, NUAIR manages operations of the New York UAS Test Site at Griffiss International Airport in Rome, NY, one of just seven FAA-designated UAS test sites in the United States. NUAIR is at the forefront of public policy development, commercialization, and integration of UAS technology.

The NUAIR Alliance was founded by members of CenterState CEO and later joined by MassDevelopment Corporation in Massachusetts to respond to the UAS Test Site opportunity created by Congress in 2012.  The NUAIR Alliance provides economic development leadership for the growth of the UAS business sector in Central New York. The Alliance also provides public education about civil and commercial use of UAS. Visit to learn more.

Through its partnership, CenterState CEO provides government relations, communications, and back-office support for the NUAIR mission, while working in concert to advance the economic development opportunities the UAS industry holds for the region.
