Microelectronics Manufacturing

We connect employers and manufacturing training providers to innovate and expand training in semiconductor industry and affiliated sectors.

Manufacturing employers in Central New York consistently seek to improve non-technical employability skills among early-career talent, including communication, punctuality, critical thinking, and accountability. Lack of strong professional skills often lead to early turnover, higher onboarding costs, and challenges maintaining production schedules. Through Tech Hubs STEP UP, our team is working to identify innovative training and business models to close this gap for jobseekers and companies.
