CenterState CEO Chief Executive Officer Rob Simpson Receives Upstate Medical University’s President’s Award for Distinguished Service

CenterState CEO Chief Executive Officer Rob Simpson has received Upstate Medical University’s President’s Award for Distinguished Service at its Fall Faculty Convocation, which honored more than two dozen Upstate community members and others for exemplary service.

"The award recognizes Rob’s longstanding service to Central New York and his commitment to building strong, collaborative partnerships across the region. His leadership continues to advance initiatives that support the health and vitality of the community and strengthen connections between Upstate and the broader Central New York community."

Awards recognized individuals in numerous categories, from Professional Service and Voluntary Faculty to Research and Diversity. Two awards honored a company and an individual for Philanthropic Service.

“Convocation is a time to recognize the people whose talent, dedication and generosity strengthen Upstate and extend our impact,” said Upstate President Mantosh Dewan, MD. “Our honorees represent the many ways people contribute to our university—from advancing education, research and patient care to supporting our mission as valued partners in the community.
