CenterState CEO Chief Executive Officer Rob Simpson shared this statement following the announcement that Syracuse University Chancellor Kent Syverud has been diagnosed with brain cancer:
“Kent Syverud’s long service to Syracuse University has been marked by steady leadership and a deep commitment to the institution and the Syracuse University community. As he faces this diagnosis and focuses on his health, the Central New York community stands firmly with him and his family, and with the faculty, staff and partners who have worked closely with Kent. Central New York is a resilient place, and we hope that Kent can draw on that strength as he takes on this next challenge.”
