Constellation to be Recognized with 2026 Community Visionary Award

This award is given annually to a person, company or association that embodies the vision of economic opportunity, and that has had a significant impact on community prosperity. From its strong partnership with workforce development efforts and thought leadership on critical strategic initiatives that impact the region, to its incredible community investments and commitments that support local organizations and neighbors—Constellation embodies the spirit of this award in many ways.  

As a major regional employer with more than 2,300 employees across three sites in Oswego and Wayne Counties, Constellation supports families, small businesses and community vitality. Its deep commitment to building partnerships has helped to address essential community needs and challenges.

The company has partnered to create pathways for underrepresented individuals to join programs that prepare them for in-demand careers in the region. Notably, Constellation was a leader in spearheading the Oswego County Childcare Investment Fund, which helps provide financial assistance and resources to childcare providers for expanding facilities and training.  

Constellation is also at the forefront of critical regional economic development priorities, such as advancing opportunities in the region to create stable, long-term support for building additional nuclear energy and a clean energy future for New York. 

The company and its employees support numerous nonprofits, community organizations and events through investment, sponsorship and support of its employees to volunteer and give back. In 2025, Constellation and its employees donated nearly $2 million across New York state, and volunteered nearly 15,000 hours with nonprofits.
