Future-Proof Your Organization Against Cybersecurity and AI Challenges

A hacker gets into your company files, locks down your entire business and demands payment for the key. Or an employee puts confidential company information into a free AI tool, and it's out of your control for good.
Ransomware and AI data leaks can bring operations to a halt; and a generic response plan pulled from the internet may not be enough to recover.
"The most common mistake that many business owners are making today is not prioritizing risks that exist within your own specific environment," says Lindsay Usherwood, general counsel, Usherwood Office Technology.
Usherwood's teams see it often. Business owners search online for cybersecurity solutions, but advice built for one enterprise, may not be helpful for everyone.
Before you build a protection plan or a response and recovery procedure, Usherwood recommends that you should understand the risks that exist in your business, environment, systems and data right now.
That includes AI. Usherwood says leaders can't afford to ignore the rapidly evolving technology.
"If you aren't giving your employees a tool to use or you're not giving any guidance or governance, what will start happening is they will resort to using free versions of AI that you don't know about, and therefore, it's pretty much a guarantee that you'll have data leakage from your company," says Usherwood.
Knowing your risks is the first step. Knowing what to do about them is the next. That's the focus of the Future-Proof Your Business, Cybersecurity, Technology and AI Summit on Thursday, Oct. 29, from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. at CenterState CEO's INSPYRE Innovation Hub.
Hear real stories and solutions from industry experts on rapidly evolving cybersecurity threats, accelerating technology changes and the growing impact of artificial intelligence.
One afternoon could give you the information and tools to protect yourself and your organization for months to come.
