LIVERPOOL, NY – JULY 29, 2024: AmeriCU Credit Union is proud to host its upcoming Shred Day event, scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 10th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 7474 Oswego Road, Liverpool, NY. Shred Day provides a convenient and secure way for community members to dispose of their confidential documents.
Members and non-members are encouraged to take advantage of this free service. Participants can remain in their vehicle upon arrival, an AmeriCU representative will be available to assist with the document shredding process. Individuals can bring a maximum of 5 bags or copy paper size boxes per vehicle. By shredding documents securely, attendees will mitigate the risk of fraud.
In today’s digital age, protecting confidential information is more critical than ever. Identity theft and data breaches are on the rise, posing significant risks to individuals. Proper disposal of documents containing personal details, financial records, and other sensitive data is essential to prevent unauthorized access and protect privacy. AmeriCU is happy to provide this complimentary service to the community to help keep their members safe and give back to the local area.
