Bryant & Stratton College Announces New Campus Director

Syracuse, NY, Jul 28, 2023 – Bryant & Stratton College announces the hiring of its new Syracuse Campus Director, effective immediately. Mary Hawkins, brings extensive experience in academic and campus leadership roles, having most recently served as the Executive Director of Academic Operations for the Arizona College of Nursing.

Prior to joining Bryant & Stratton College, Hawkins was employed for 11 years with Adtalem Global Education Group, formerly DeVry University, where she held several leadership roles, including Director of Campus Operations, Dean of Campus Operations, and Dean of Academic Affairs. She has held previous roles with Mid-State College and the University of Southern Maine, Edmund Muskie School of Public Service, as Director of Enrollment Services and Director of Human Resources respectively. She holds a Master of Science Degree in Project Management from DeVry University Keller Graduate School, and a Master of Science Degree in Adult Education from the University of Southern Maine.    

“I’m honored to return to my home state of New York as the Campus Director for Bryant & Stratton College in Syracuse. My mission is to raise awareness of our how we serve the community as a non-profit partner in higher education and career readiness. I’m as excited to contribute to local workforce development efforts as I am to cheer on our championship sports teams,” Hawkins said.

Hawkins has a proven track record of success in areas such as retention, enrollment, referral models, and program accreditation, including nursing. She has also mentored and trained new campus operations directors. She will relocate from Dallas, Texas, with her family.
