CNY BEST Talent Development Nominees Announced

 

The nominees for the 13th Annual CNY BEST Talent Development Awardshave been announced by CNY ATD. CNY ATD annually presents CNY BEST Talent Development Awards to recognize excellence in talent development in the CNY area.

 

For 2020, CNY ATD created the CNY BEST Resilience Award to showcase and share our community’s best in dealing with COVID-19 while recognizing excellence in talent development. Organizations were asked to describe their challenges resulting from the pandemic, how they overcame the challenges and what they see as their new normal. A panel of local judges representing the talent development profession and the community will be evaluating the nominations for quality of talent development solutions to organization challenges.

The CNY BEST winners will be announced at the CNY BEST Talent Development Awards Ceremony which will be held on Thursday, November 5 as an interactive virtual event with networking, recognitions and awards. The keynote for the CNY BEST Talent Development Awards Ceremony will be “CNY Resilient: How the Region Rebuilds After an Unprecedented Crisis” with Robert M. Simpson, President and Chief Executive Officer, CenterState CEO. Rob will share a high-level look at what is driving Central New York’s recovery following the COVID-19 crisis with an understanding of how talent, collaboration and resilience intersect to drive a faster and farther-reaching regional recovery.

CNY ATD annually recognizes excellence in talent development in the CNY area with the CNY BEST Talent Development Program. Organizations, consultants and individuals/teams who have made an impact on the success of the organizations and communities they serve are recognized as CNY's BEST in Talent Development. Nominated practices represent a diverse variety of talent development topics and techniques. A panel of local and national judges representing the talent development profession and community evaluate the nominations for quality of talent development practices, practice results and impacts, and demonstrations of how the practices linked to the strategic growth or success of the organization and individuals. CNY ATD has been nationally recognized for this innovative CNY BEST Program which “creates awareness in the community about talent development and its importance to organizational success, while creating involvement by organizations in the community through recognition of excellence in talent development practices”. CNY ATD is celebrating the 13th Annual CNY BEST Talent Development Program in 2020.
