Dannible & McKee LLP Expands to Florida and Relocates Schenectady Office

SYRACUSE, NY, March 7, 2024 – Dannible & McKee, LLP, a certified public accounting and consulting firm, recently expanded its business by relocating to a larger office location in Schenectady, New York, and opening a new office in Tampa, Florida. These changes reflect the firm’s growth and interest in expanding its footprint in new markets.

In January of 2022, Anthony Cerchia, CPA, a tax manager who joined Dannible and McKee in 2017, relocated to Tampa and has been working remotely for the firm. Since his relocation, he has been dedicated to building a client base in Tampa and expanding the firm’s presence in the area.  

“When Anthony told us he wanted to move to Florida, we were happy to accommodate his request,” said Christopher Didio, CPA, CFE, managing partner at Dannible & McKee. “Anthony has worked tirelessly to spread our name in the Tampa region, so it was an easy decision to open our newest office down south.”

The office opened in January of this year and is located at 3001 N. Rocky Point Drive, Suite 214, Tampa, FL 33607.

The Schenectady office of Dannible & McKee has been in existence since 2019. Like Cerchia, Shannon Forkin, CPA, CGMA, a tax partner at the firm, established their presence after moving back to the Capital Region in 2014 and working remotely. Initially, the office consisted of Forkin, but has since grown to five total employees, including one intern. As a result of its growth, the firm found the need to relocate to a larger space that can accommodate room for more employees in the future.

“We had a good problem where business was increasing, which meant so is our staff,” said Forkin. “A larger space was needed, and we were able to make that happen.”

They officially relocated to the new office in August of 2023 and is now located at Mohawk Harbor, 200 Harborside Drive, Suite 201, Schenectady, NY 12305.

“This is an exciting time for our firm,” said Didio. “Business is thriving, and our office growth reflects that. We’ve expanded our offices outside of Upstate New York, increased our office space in the Capital Region, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for the firm.”
