SYRACUSE, NY – Dermody, Burke & Brown, CPAs, LLC is pleased to announce the promotion of Alonzo T. Bertron, CPA to the new position of Principal. Carolyn Sturick, CEO, expressed her enthusiasm for the promotion:

Alonzo brings more than a decade of experience in public accounting and private enterprise, serving a diverse range of industries and business structures. His areas of expertise include:

•    Construction accounting
•    Multi-state taxation
•    Real estate transactions, including 1031 exchanges

Alonzo earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from State University of New York at Geneseo.  He is a member of the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
