Elderwood at Liverpool earns five-star Medicare rating

Posted on August 30, 2020

LIVERPOOL, NY – Elderwood at Liverpool, a senior care community featuring long-term care and subacute rehab at 4800 Bear Road, Liverpool, has earned a Five-Star rating from Medicare.gov. The rating is based on statistics compiled by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the facility’s internal reports and care plans, and results of New York State health inspections, with a focus on quality care.

“I’ve always known we have an amazing staff, but I’m proud to have them recognized by Medicare.gov for providing exemplary services,” said Administrator Kristin Russell. “Over the decades that Elderwood has been a part of the Liverpool community, we’ve built a strong reputation for quality long-term care and subacute rehabilitation services.”

Completely remodeled in 2018, Elderwood at Liverpool offers a bright and inviting environment for those requiring round-the-clock care, as well as individuals receiving short-term physical, occupational and speech therapy. Long-term residents with dementia benefit from Elderwood’s Seasons Memory Care program, a personalized, structured program designed to maintain function and improve quality of life.

Long-term care applications currently are being accepted, with opportunities for virtual tours and Zoom meetings. For more information, interested families may contact Lynn Blair, Regional Manager of Business Development, at (315) 313-2737.
