SYRACUSE, NY – Excellus BlueCross BlueShield has been recognized by J.D. Power, earning #1 in Customer Satisfaction among Medicare Advantage plans in New York, as well as Most Trusted and #1 Medicare Advantage Provider for Ease of Doing Business in New York. The recognition was published as a part of the J.D. Power 2024 U.S. Medicare Advantage Study based on the responses of 10,718 members of Medicare Advantage plans in 10 market-based U.S. regions.
This distinction reflects Excellus BCBS’ commitment to providing members high quality health care that is as affordable and accessible as possible. The health plan is honored to be recognized by J.D. Power for its efforts to provide members with exceptional and dependable services.
The U.S. Medicare Advantage Study, now in its 10th year, measures member satisfaction with Medicare Advantage plans—also known as Medicare Part C—based on eight factors:

- product/coverage offerings meet my needs
- ease of doing business
- people - representatives, call center agents
- resolving problems or complaints
