Oneida Indian Nation Homelands (December 19, 2024) – Today Forbes Travel Guide recognized Turning Stone Resort Casino’s Gingerbread Village as one of the seven best displays of its kind in the country alongside other top destinations including Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, The Broadmoor and The Ritz-Carlton, New Orleans.
In its “7 Stunning Gingerbread Displays,” Forbes described Turning Stone’s Gingerbread Village as “a real-life holiday escape in the form of a gingerbread village” with “the season’s spirit at every turn.”
Each year, the Turning Stone Pastry team distinguishes itself as one of the best in the world by creating the resort’s Gingerbread Village, one of the region’s most highly anticipated holiday traditions. This year’s display was inspired by beloved holiday films and TV specials enjoyed across generations, including White Christmas, Dr. Seuss’ How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Elf, Home Alone and many others.
“We know how much our guests look forward to the Gingerbread Village at Turning Stone each year, and we spend a great deal of time planning and bringing it to life,” said Charles Newland, Turning Stone Enterprises Vice President for Food & Beverage. “Each year, our team raises the bar for this holiday tradition even higher, and we are proud to see their great efforts recognized by Forbes Travel Guide again this year.”
The Gingerbread Village is open daily through New Year’s Day and is located near the main entrance of the resort by The Commons shopping boutiques.
