Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo will host its fourth-annual Tee Off FORE the Animals Charity Golf Tournament to support conservation at the historic Bellevue Country Club on June 24 from 7 AM – 3:30 PM.
The Captain-and-Crew tournament will feature breakfast on the cart, lunch on the course and a post-tournament dinner in the luxurious clubhouse. Registrants will have the chance to participate in on-course contests as they complete 18 holes of championship golf. Proceeds from the event will provide critical support to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo’s mission of saving species and conservation education.
“We are excited to once again host this golf tournament, a unique and engaging event that entertains while raising significant funds and awareness for animal conservation,” Friends of the Zoo Executive Director Carrie Large said. “It is always a privilege to enjoy the elegant grounds of the Bellevue Country Club during a day of recreation with golfers and animal enthusiasts.”
Before the tournament, the zoo is holding a silent auction online, where golfers and supporters that can’t be there can bid on items ranging from animal-created artwork to autographed sports memorabilia. The silent auction will continue through the day of the tournament, with winners announced and prizes awarded at the end of the contest.
The Tee Off FORE the Animals Charity Golf Tournament provides guests with three meals, a day of recreation and camaraderie, exclusive silent auction prizes, and a chance to enjoy the stunning views of the Syracuse skyline and Central New York hills only The Bellevue Country Club can provide. The Friends of the Zoo encourage those interested to visit its website to register and peruse the silent auction.
