10/8/24—Syracuse, NY: The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology (MOST) is excited to announce the newest installation in our rotating Nucor Innovation Station—Haun Welding Supply! Leaders from Haun and the MOST will cut the ribbon on the new exhibit at 10am on Thursday, October 10, and media are encouraged to attend to highlight this great collaboration between a thriving local business and the MOST.
Haun Welding Supply, a Syracuse-based welding supply and gas distributor, installed a three-month long exhibit in the Nucor Innovation Station at The MOST that will be on display through the end of 2024. Haun noted that kicking off this exhibit in October is a perfect opportunity to showcase the history and science of welding during Manufacturing month. This exhibit will give kids the chance to interact with welding machines and safety equipment and check out an array of other welding related items such as a 4-foot dinosaur welded together by a Haun employee, an underwater welding helmet, large gas cylinders, and a welder from the 1950s. A dress-up station includes welding helmets, goggles, and clothing, and kids can enter a helmet design and coloring contest to win a real helmet painted with their design.
The Milton J. Rubenstein Museum of Science & Technology (MOST) is a hands-on science and technology museum located in historic Armory Square in downtown Syracuse.
