Holiday Nights Event Returns to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo in DecemberPosted on November 20, 2024 |
SYRACUSE, NY – It's the most wonderful time of the year! Holiday Nights returns to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo for a holiday experience unlike any other. Friends of the Rosamond Gifford Zoo hosts these enchanting evenings on Fridays and Saturdays between December 6-21 from 5-8pm, transforming the zoo into a festive winter party. We welcome the public to enjoy a delightful, after-hours stroll across zoo grounds filled with sparkling light displays, dazzling entertainment, and sweet treats as we come together to support wildlife conservation. Tickets are on sale now at rosamondgiffordzoo.org.
Our entertainment lineup includes caroling groups and roving performers from Cirqovation. Come visit Santa at his new workshop, complete with a milk and cookies station, in our Animal Health Center. Stop by the make-and-take craft area. Enjoy photo opportunities throughout. Warm up by the fire pits with s’mores and hot chocolate. Finish your holiday shopping at the Visions Federal Credit Union Holiday Marketplace, featuring unique items from local vendors.
In the spirit of the season, the Friends Zoo United campaign will donate $1 from every hot chocolate purchased at Holiday Nights to United Way of Central New York.
'Tis the season for giving, and Holiday Nights is no exception. When guests participate in Holiday Nights, they give the gift of support to our zoo. Join us as we celebrate our beloved animals, the essential place they have in our world, and work towards conserving wildlife locally and globally.
Holiday Nights is sponsored by Berkshire Bank, Community Bank, Excellus Blue Cross Blue Shield, Visions Federal Credit Union, Tops Friendly Markets, and Wegmans.
