Holidays with the Animals

Free with zoo membership or admission.

Help celebrate the season with our animal residents as they receive enrichment “gifts” to engage them and encourage their natural behaviors. Zoo-goers can watch the animals inspect, play with and open their presents as different species receive them throughout the day.

10:45 a.m. — Amur Leopard (Zalie and Bob Linn Amur Leopard Woodland)

11:15 a.m. — Contact Barn Animals and Outdoor Birds (Outdoor Zoo)

11:30 a.m. — Gray Wolves (Wildlife Trail)

11:45 a.m. — Sichuan Takin & Turkmenian Markhor (Wildlife Trail)

12:15 p.m. — Asian Elephants (Asian Elephant Barn Viewing Windows)

12:45 p.m. — Snow Leopard (Wildlife Trail)

1 p.m. — Red Panda and Andean Bear (Wildlife Trail)

1:30 p.m. — Southern Tamandua (Animal Adaptations)

1:45 p.m. — North American River Otters (Animal Adaptations)

2 p.m. — Hoffmann’s Two-Toed Sloths (Animal Adaptations)

2:15 p.m. — Humboldt Penguins (Penguin Coast)

2:30 p.m. — River Turtles (Tropical River Exhibit)
