For Immediate Release: Beth Lacey Joins HOLT Architects as Principal To Lead New Albany Office

Posted on December 14, 2022

Ithaca, NY – HOLT Architects announced today that Beth Lacey has joined the firm’s leadership team as a new principal to establish and lead the firm’s new office in Albany, New York.

Ms. Lacey brings more than 30 years of architectural and leadership experience to the firm and is a respected member of the Albany business community. The addition of Beth to HOLT’s leadership team and the opening of the company’s Albany office will allow the company to better serve its existing clients as well as create an opportunity for the firm to strategically grow as it approaches its 60th anniversary. This new location will be HOLT’s third location—expanding beyond its Ithaca headquarters and office in Syracuse.

According to HOLT’s President Paul Levesque, “We are thrilled to have Beth Lacey join the firm as a new, additional, principal who will open and lead a new HOLT office in Albany. I’ve known Beth personally and professionally for years and we are fortunate to have such a talented architect and leader join our team.”

Prior to HOLT, Ms. Lacey was a partner in the firm she founded. As a business founder and industry leader, she understands business-building strategies, providing overall practice leadership and mentorship, and project leadership. She has broad experience in the management, design, and implementation of a wide range of projects—both large and small—including feasibility studies, adaptive reuse, renovation, and new buildings. She has extensive experience and depth of knowledge in creating design and technical solutions for many building types and employs a highly responsive programming and design approach that yields specific and unique results for educational and commercial structures.
