OCC’s CONDENSED FALL SEMESTER CLASS SCHEDULE BEGINS IN OCTOBER
Onondaga Community College is providing expanded options to students of all ages interested in taking college classes this fall. Registration is now open for fall semester courses offered in a highly concentrated, 7-week period. These condensed fall semester courses begin Monday, October 19.
Courses are being offered in more than two dozen disciplines. The list can be viewed by clicking on this link. The 7-week semester is a great option for students who began the semester at another college but found it wasn’t the right fit, high school students who want to get ahead, current OCC students interested in moving from part-time to full-time enrollment, or anyone interested in taking a college class.
“Students of all ages have told us they want more options outside of the traditional semester format. As a community college we are very aware of our students demands outside the classroom. Approximately 80% of our students work 30 hours a week or more. We’ve worked hard to create learning opportunities which fit everyone’s lives,” said OCC President Dr. Casey Crabill.
