Francis House will welcome more than 1,800 guests to the NY State Fair Exposition Center for There’s No Place Like Home on Wednesday, October 16, 2024. Guests purchase keys that may open doors of 10 prize houses. Our digital silent auction offers attendees, both remote and in-person, hundreds of incredible prizes and experiences to bid on and win. Six food stations offer delectable dining options as people browse, bid, try their luck with keys, and take a chance in two raffles.
Francis House provides a home and a supportive extended family to people with a terminal diagnosis; those with a prognosis of three months or less to live. Our family of caregivers, staff, and volunteers surround each resident with unconditional love, guided by our core values of compassion, acceptance, respect, and dignity. Francis House welcomes all residents regardless of faith, ethnicity, or the ability to pay for their care. As a community care home, Francis House does not receive federal, state, or local funding, nor any insurance reimbursement. We rely solely on our community’s generosity to operate.
