1. The Long Law Firm, PLLC Is Now Long Law, P.C.

The Long Law Firm, PLLC has formally converted to Long Law, P.C. The transition to a professional corporation reflects the firm’s expanding footprint across multiple jurisdictions. Long Law, P.C. maintains offices in New York City, Syracuse, and Ithaca, New York, and Sacramento, California, and is licensed to practice throughout New York, New Jersey, California, and Nevada.

The change streamlines the firm’s name while preserving everything clients value most: the same attorneys, the same commitment to excellence, and the same dedication to client service.

2. New Office in Ithaca, New York

Long Law has opened a new office at 102 East State Street in Ithaca, New York, located at Ithaca Commons in the heart of downtown. The Ithaca office positions the firm to serve the region’s vibrant entrepreneurial community, including the startups, researchers, and innovators connected to Cornell University and the broader Finger Lakes tech ecosystem.

The office expands Long Law’s ability to provide hands-on legal support for business formation, intellectual property, and corporate transactions to founders and growing companies in the Ithaca area. The office also serves as a base for the firm’s litigation practice throughout the Southern Tier and Finger Lakes regions, bringing Long Law’s municipal defense and civil litigation capabilities closer to the clients and courts it serves across that corridor.

3. Launch of AI-Enabled Legal Tools

Long Law has launched an AI-enabled chatbot on the firm’s website, designed to help current and prospective clients quickly access information, explore services, and find answers to common questions.

The chatbot is the first step in a broader initiative to integrate AI-enabled tools across the firm’s client-facing services over the next year, including:

  • A streamlined experience for forming new business ventures
  • Simplified intellectual property registration workflows
  • More efficient intake and onboarding processes

4. Launch of Secure Client Portal

The firm’s most significant announcement is the launch of its Client Portal, a secure, centralized platform designed to enhance the client experience. The portal provides clients with a single destination where they can view up-to-date information about their matters, pay outstanding invoices, retrieve document deliverables, and upload documents directly to their attorneys.

All technologies deployed by the firm are implemented with strict attention to confidentiality, data security, and the ethical standards of the legal profession. Client information remains secure and handled in full compliance with applicable professional responsibility rules.

About Long Law, P.C.

Over the past six years, the firm has grown from a solo practice into a team with offices in Syracuse, Ithaca, New York City, and Sacramento.
