Leader in Manufacturing Supports Drone Technology Start-Up from GENIUS NY accelerator; Cutting-edge Drone Docking Station Installed at Cazenovia, New York Facility

CAZENOVIA, NEW YORK – Marquardt, a global leader in innovative technology solutions and manufacturing, is pleased to announce a strategic partnership with Dronehub, a leading European manufacturer of autonomous drone technologies specializing in advanced drone docking stations. This collaboration represents a significant step forward in advancing drone technology within Central New York. Marquardt has extended a contract to Dronehub for the installation of their state-of-the-art docking station technology at Marquardt's production facility in Cazenovia.

Dronehub creates an integrated ecosystem that seamlessly blends autonomous drones, ground infrastructure, and AI software to automate monitoring and data collection processes. Their hardware solutions empower the deployment of drone services across diverse terrains and under various weather conditions. By automating data collection, Dronehub enables industries to make informed business decisions while replacing hazardous jobs with an intelligent and fully autonomous drone solution.

The installation of the Dronehub platform was completed in late January at Marquardt’s facility. The drone company intends to utilize this location for hosting customer visits and conducting technology demonstrations, aiming to pave the way for an expansion of their product offerings in the U.S. market.

As a previous finalist in the GENIUS NY accelerator competition, Dronehub secured a $500,000 award from the program in the fall of 2022. GENIUS NY is the world’s largest business accelerator centered on uncrewed aerial systems, automation and AI. Participants commit to operating their businesses in Central New York for at least one year, fostering roots and growth within the region.
