Syracuse, NY, November 27, 2023 -  Bryant & Stratton College is pleased to announce the promotion of Mary Hawkins to Director of Syracuse Campuses at Bryant & Stratton College (B&SC).  Mary joined B&SC in July 2023 as the Syracuse Campus Director. She will now lead both the Syracuse and Liverpool campuses.  Hawkins, a seasoned professional in academic and campus leadership, brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to her new role.

With a distinguished career, Hawkins most recently served as the Executive Director of Academic Operations for the Arizona College of Nursing. Prior to joining Bryant & Stratton College, she dedicated 11 years to Adtalem Global Education Group, formerly DeVry University, where she held various leadership positions.

Hawkins has also contributed her expertise to Mid-State College and the University of Southern Maine, Edmund Muskie School of Public Service.  Her educational background includes a Master of Science Degree in Project Management from DeVry University Keller Graduate School and a Master of Science Degree in Adult Education from the University of Southern Maine.

As the new Director, Hawkins is poised to make a significant impact on B&SC’s Syracuse campuses. She has a proven track record in areas such as retention, enrollment, referral models, and program accreditation, with a particular focus on nursing which is offered at the college’s Liverpool campus. “I’ve experienced a warm welcome from our community organizations, education partners, and graduate employers. With the local growth in employment opportunities, Bryant & Stratton College can help meet the demand for skilled workers. This is an exciting time to lead Bryant & Stratton College in Syracuse and Liverpool!” Hawkins said.

Hawkins, and her family, relocated from Dallas, Texas, to join the Syracuse community. In her six short months, she has already established numerous community relationships and two formal university partnerships and it’s just the beginning.  Her commitment to building community relationships aligns with B&SC’s values, and her leadership is expected to enhance the college's presence in Central New York.
