Metis Consulting Group Advances in Bid to Win $20k Unity Week Grant

Manlius, N.Y. - Metis Consoulting Group, a woman-owned Public Benefit Corporation and certified Disability Owned Business Enterprise specializing in IT and managment consulting, has advanced in their bid to win a $20k Unity Week Pitch Grant, sponsored by the WBENC and PepsiCo.

 Metis, in collaboration with experts atthe Harvard Program on Negotiation and MIT Learning Lab, partnered with Boston-based Habitus Incorporated, a fellow B-Corp specializing in conflict management and negotiation training and coaching, to develop a new training program that helps people learn how to have challenging conversations, manage conflict, and produce meaningful resolution. Metis president Aimee Koval urged "A vote for our pitch is a vote for unity and civility in our private and public discourse, and will support our social purpose mission to bring free or low-cost communications and conflict management training to individuals and organizations around the world.
