(Oswego, NY – July 22, 2024) Strategic leader and community champion, Michael Becallo joins Oswego Health, the largest private employer in Oswego County as their new Community Relations Representative.
Originally from Cicero, Becallo is well-routed in CNY and brings over 15 years of healthcare experience. Most of his career has been spent working as an Electronic Health Record Consultant for MedConsult LLC in Syracuse. He oversaw the configuration, testing, and implementation of Electronic Health Records Clinical Information System solutions for healthcare clients, a position he’s held since 2009. In 2013 he worked for HealtheConnections as a Customer Engagement Manager where he facilitated account management and customer engagement services, before transitioning in 2021 to Unite Us as a Customer Success Manager. Additionally, Becallo is an Elected Town Councilor for the Town of Cicero and his leadership has been critical in establishing four community committees to promote town growth, business, roads, zoning, and public safety.
Becallo’s core skillset is in cultivating partnerships and long-lasting relationships with key stakeholders, which will prove pivotal as Oswego Health’s new Community Relations Representative. Becallo will serve as an advocate for the growth and development of the nonprofit healthcare system through building and maintaining referral relationships throughout CNY.
In addition to his professional experience, Becallo is very involved in the community. He is a board member of North Area Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Inc., a volunteer firefighter for Cicero Fire Department, as well as an active volunteer with various ministries at St. Rose Parish.
Becallo is a graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse, Class of 2021, and in 2015 he was recognized as a 40 Under 40 by CNY Business Journal.
