Nephrology Associates of Syracuse, P.C. Welcomes New Nurse Practitioner

October 4, 2024 – Syracuse, New York – Nephrology Associates of Syracuse, P.C., one of Central New York’s most respected and experienced nephrology groups, is pleased to announce the expansion of its team. Olena A. Stout, MSN, APRN, FNP-C has joined its kidney care specialist practice, effective October 1, 2024.

Olena is a certified family nurse practitioner with a Master of Science degree from Le Moyne College. Olena has prior work experience as a registered dialysis nurse for the Mohawk Valley Health System in Utica, NY and as a registered travel nurse for University Dialysis.  Olena will work both in the office and dialysis settings. She has a keen interest in patient education and teaching, and also works as an Adjunct Nursing Teaching Professor at Le Moyne College. 

“We are thrilled to add someone with Olena’s depth of experience to our provider team,” said Anne E. Zaccheo, Nephrology Associates of Syracuse’s Practice Director. “We know our patients will benefit from her care and ability to connect with and educate our patients and their families.”

Providers from Nephrology Associates of Syracuse, P.C. currently see patients in their main office located at 1304 Buckley Road, Suite 200 in Syracuse and at satellite offices in Camillus, Fayetteville, Fulton and Vernon.

In 1978, Nephrology Associates of Syracuse, P.C. began as a two-physician practice and has continued to grow and develop. The practice includes five physicians, five nurse practitioners, and two PAs who work closely and collaboratively to care for the ongoing needs of patients and provide the highest level of quality care. Nephrology Associates’ physicians provide consultative services and have admitting privileges at Crouse Hospital and at St. Joseph’s Hospital and work together with the local dialysis centers to manage the changing health care needs of our patients.
