Turning Stone Resort Casino: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
WHAT: On Saturday, June 3, the Oneida Indian Nation will host the American Indian Summertime Craft Fair at Turning Stone Resort Casino. The large event welcomes guests from across Upstate New York to explore and purchase authentic, handmade items created by dozens of Oneida Indian Nation Members and other American Indian artisans from the region.
Visitors will find unique gift items, including handmade jewelry, beadwork, carvings, artwork, textiles, ceramics and more.
Social Dance exhibitions will also take place during the craft fair, with performances by Chris Thomas (Onondaga) and his Smoke Dancers.
“We are excited to host this craft fair as a kick-off to the summer season,” said Tina Walker Oneida Indian Nation Member and Organizer of the Craft Fair. “It’s not only a craft fair, but also time for us as a community to catch up with each other.”
There is no charge to attend the Summertime Craft Fair. Parking is available in the Turning Stone Parking Garage and Open Lots.
