Oswego Health Foundation to Host 10th Annual For Your Health 5K and Wellness Event – A Family-Friendly Celebration of Community Wellness Presented by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and Constellation

(Oswego, NY – June 18, 2025) The Oswego Health Foundation is proud to announce that the 10th Annual For Your Health 5K and Wellness Event, presented by Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and Constellation, will be held on Saturday, August 9th, at the scenic Seneca Hill campus, located between Fulton and Oswego off Route 481 on Route 45A.

This milestone year marks a decade of bringing the community together to celebrate wellness, fitness, and the importance of local healthcare. The event is family-friendly, open to runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels, and will include a Kids’ Fun Run at 9:00 a.m., followed by the For Your Health 5K Run/Walk at 9:30 a.m.

In addition to the races, participants can enjoy a variety of local vendors, community partners, and health and wellness resourcesmaking it a fun and healthy way to spend the morning while supporting a great cause.

“As a nonprofit healthcare system, we rely on the generosity of our community and the success of events like this to continue providing quality care and important health initiatives,” said Michele Hourigan, Oswego Health’s Director of Business and Community Development. “Last year we raised over $31,000, and we’re excited to build on that momentum in our 10th year.”

Awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female 5K finishers, as well as the top three male and female finishers in each age group. New this year, prizes will be awarded for the best individual costume, the best team costumes, and the best decorated stroller or wheelchair.

“We are thrilled to have the continued support of Excellus BlueCross BlueShield and are excited to welcome Constellation as a presenting sponsor,” Hourigan added. “Their commitment to community health and wellness makes events like this possible.”
