(Clay, NY – April 6, 2026) Oswego Health Medical Practice is pleased to announce that Michelle Burns, FNP, has officially joined its primary care team, further strengthening access to high-quality, community-based care across Central New York.

She earned her Master of Science as a Family Nurse Practitioner from SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2024, her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from SUNY Upstate in 2021, and her Associate of Applied Science as a Registered Nurse from St. Joseph’s College of Nursing in 2005.

A lifelong resident of Phoenix, New York, Burns has dedicated her career to caring for patients throughout the region. She has held clinical roles at SUNY Upstate Medical University Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and through travel nursing assignments, gaining broad experience in medical-surgical care and patient-centered treatment. Most recently, she served as a Nurse Practitioner with Matrix Medical LLC, where she provided comprehensive assessments, chronic disease management, and preventive care services across diverse care settings, including home and skilled facility visits.
