Oswego Health Medical Practice Welcomes Robert Andrew Ogg, DO, MPT, MED to the Center for Orthopedic Care

(Oswego, NY – August 26, 2024) Oswego Health Medical Practice, a multi-specialty medical group offering the community accessible, high-quality healthcare throughout CNY, welcomes orthopedic surgeon, Robert Andrew Ogg, DO, MPT, MED to the Center for Orthopedic Care.

With twenty years of experience, Dr. Ogg’s professional interests include sports medicine, physical therapy, medical education, and wound care. He began his career in medicine as a Physical Therapist working for several years in skilled nursing facilities, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine clinics. In 2011, he transitioned his focus to orthopedic surgery and worked throughout the northeast including at Millcreek Community Hospital, Spartansburg Regional Health Center, Bronx-Lebanon Hospital, Vohra Wound Physicians, and Larkin Community Hospital. 

Before joining Oswego Health Medical Practice, Dr. Ogg completed his Orthopedic Sports Medicine Fellowship at Inova Fairfax Medical Center in Northern Virginia. He took care of many professional teams including the Washington Spirit, DC Defenders, Loudon United, DC United, Washington Nationals, World Rugby Championships, and local high schools. In 2023 he completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at Larkin Community Hospital in South Miami, Florida. Dr. Ogg earned his medical degree from the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. In 2004 he completed his Masters of Physical Therapy from The Ohio State University. He also completed a Wound Care Fellowship and a Masters of Medical Education.

Starting August 26th, Dr. Ogg will work alongside Michael Diaz, DO, Brandon Weaver, PA, and Helen Williams, CSCS, PA-C at the Center for Orthopedic Care, which provides a broad range of services, and the latest treatments and techniques to help patients get back in motion, and doing the things they love.
