Oswego Health Welcomes Cheryl Youker, FNP-C, ACHPN, to the Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine

(Oswego, NY – July 14, 2025) Oswego Health is pleased to welcome Cheryl Youker, FNP-C, ACHPN, as the newest Family Nurse Practitioner at the Center for Wound Healing & Hyperbaric Medicine. A resident of Pulaski, NY, Youker brings more than 20 years of diverse nursing experience to her new role, including clinical work in critical care, pain management, palliative care, home-based primary care, and outpatient services.

Youker earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (2013) and Master of Science in Nursing (2015) from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, where she specialized in Family Nurse Practitioner studies. She is board-certified by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and holds advanced certification in Hospice and Palliative Care Nursing through the HPCC.

Throughout her career, Youker has provided care in multiple settings, including pain management, home-based primary care for Veterans, school-based clinics, outpatient family practice, and high-acuity hospital environments. She is known for her dedication to compassionate, evidence-based care and her commitment to lifelong learning. She is a member of both the Hospice and Palliative Care Nurses Association and the Nurse Practitioner Association of New York State.
