Oswego County is developing a Comprehensive Plan to guide growth and change over the next 10 to 15 years. The plan will address housing, jobs, transportation, water and sewer infrastructure, the environment and community services, giving county leaders a framework to protect local values while preparing for the future.
Residents are invited to take part in the planning process by attending a public meeting or completing an online survey. Public meetings are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 11, at CiTi BOCES, and Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Hastings Fire Department. Both sessions will run from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
The short online survey provides an opportunity for residents to share their priorities and ideas. A QR code linking to the survey is available on the county’s flier. Survey link here.
County officials say community input will help ensure the plan reflects the needs and goals of the people who live and work in Oswego County.
