(Syracuse, NY): Solvay Bank is pleased to announce Douglas Crego as the new Vice President, Commercial Banking Manager. In his new role, Crego will oversee the Commercial Lending team, providing loans, deposit services, cash management products and other services to support commercial clients across the Bank’s footprint.
Crego has more than 25 years of vast experience in the banking sector, working for a range of reputable financial institutions. Since joining the Solvay Bank team in 2023 as Vice President, Senior Commercial Loan Officer, Crego has been active with the Commercial team as a Team Leader, and has helped to support other various bank-wide initiatives.
Outside of the bank, Crego is committed to leadership in the community and is an active volunteer in schools, youth sports, chambers and business groups. He also is a former junior college basketball coach.
