SOS Welcomes Max Greenky, MD to its Joint Replacement Team

East Syracuse, NY – Syracuse Orthopedic Specialists (SOS) is pleased to announce it has recently hired Max Greenky, MD, who will be joining its Joint Replacement team in August. Dr. Greenky is a fellowship trained surgeon who specializes in hip and knee joint replacement. He will join his father, Seth Greenky, MD, and uncle, Brett Greenky, MD, both founding partners of SOS and joint replacement surgeons.

Prior to joining SOS, Dr. Max Greenky completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction Surgery at Duke University Department of Orthopedic Surgery. He completed his residency and internship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia where he was named Academic Chief Resident in 2019. He received his medical degree from the Sydney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University and received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating magna cum laude. He has already published in several peer-reviewed journals and presented at many conferences.

Greenky has joined SOS team members as a resident surgeon on Operation Walk NY missions to Ghana and Guatemala. He resides in Manlius with his wife and two children.

Dr. Max Greenky is now accepting new patients. He will be seeing patients at the Clay, DeWitt, Fayetteville and North Syracuse office locations and can be reached at 315-251-3100- Option 4, Option 2.
