Sarah McAfee, RN, MSN, has been promoted from Operating Room Supervisor to Clinical Director. Sarah brings over eight years of experience at SODS to her new leadership role. She has served as OR Charge Nurse for two years and as OR Supervisor for the past four years. Sarah has guided our team through significant milestones, including the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, the expansion of our Taft Road and Glacier Creek locations, and a period of transformational cultural growth. Her strategic insight and resilience make her uniquely equipped to lead clinical operations across the organization.

Jessica Palermo, RN, BSN, CNOR has been promoted to Operating Room Supervisor. With a decade of service at SODS and three years as OR Charge Nurse, Jessica has consistently demonstrated excellence in team coordination and clinical leadership. She is highly organized, detail-oriented, and well-positioned for this expanded leadership role.

Shannon Stevens, RN, a 15-year veteran of SODS, has been promoted to Operating Room Charge Nurse. Shannon is a respected clinician known for her strong surgical nursing skills and collaborative approach. She is a trusted resource among peers and surgeons alike.

“These promotions reflect the depth of talent within our clinical team and our commitment to developing leaders from within,” said Geoff Smith, Executive Director of SODS. “We are excited to see Sarah, Jessica, and Shannon bring their passion and experience to their new roles as we continue to deliver exceptional care to our patients.”
