Inbound Sales Representatives Can Earn More than $52,000 Annually

Virtual Job Fair Planned for Feb. 23

SYRACUSE, N.Y. (Feb. 22, 2021) – Spectrum announced it plans to add 70 new jobs in the coming months at its Spectrum Community Solutions call center in East Syracuse. The new Inbound Sales Representative positions will support the rapid growth of Spectrum Community Solutions, Spectrum’s organization that delivers highly specialized service to residents, managers and owners of multiple-dwelling residential properties.

These full-time, growth-opportunity roles offer competitive base pay, with lucrative commissions and incentive opportunities. Inbound Sales Representatives who reach their targets can earn more than $52,000 annually; top performers have even higher earning potential.

Spectrum Community Solutions is also hiring Customer Service Representatives at its East Syracuse call center. Customer Service Representatives handle account and billing inquiries from current customers, and these roles offer competitive hourly wages and growth potential.

For both roles, Spectrum provides comprehensive health benefits, and for the past eight years, has absorbed the full annual cost increase of medical, dental and vision coverage. The company also offers a market-leading retirement plan, with a 401(k) that matches the first 6% of employee contributions, plus a Retirement Accumulation Plan with an additional 3% company contribution, for which most employees are eligible. Spectrum employees can receive up to $5,250 per year in education assistance, as well as complimentary and discounted Spectrum services.

“These Spectrum Community Solutions roles offer talented, hard-working local employees rich career-growth opportunities,” said Dodie Murphy, Vice President of Customer Service for Spectrum Community Solutions, “and enable us to provide the highest quality service to this unique, fast-growing customer segment.”

Virtual Job Fair Feb. 23

A virtual job fair is being held on Tuesday, Feb. 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Candidates can apply online at Spectrum’s careers site, and recruiters will send them a link to register for the job fair.

To comply with social distancing, candidates moving forward in the hiring process undergo interviews via phone or live video, and the employee onboarding process is completed virtually.

“At a time when many in our community are continuing to face economic hardship due to the pandemic, it is welcome news to see economic growth and the creation of new good-paying local jobs,” said Rep. John Katko.“I applaud Spectrum for investing in our workforce locally.”

Spectrum Community Solutions offers industry-leading wired and wireless broadband, video and mobile phone services to residents of apartments, off-campus student housing, senior residences, RV parks and marinas. Representatives at its dedicated East Syracuse call center provide support to this specialized customer group, as part of an organization uniquely focused on the needs of residents and their property managers and owners.
